| AFTER'PALOOZA! |

It's summertime and the massive Lollapalooza music festival once again for 3 days of killer music on stages as far as the eye can see...  Basically, it's a 72-hour musical feeding frenzy, if you factor in the afterparties after the festival ends for the day at 10pm...

...And this is where we come in.

We've got one sick Lollapalooza afterparty lined-up for you.
Three of Undocumented Management's best electro artists along with two of Chicago's best electro acts to round out the roster!

Some venues will claim to have the best Lollapalooza afterparty.  We will actually deliver on that statement.

JFK (of MSTRKRFT)
“We tried to make ‘festival weapons,’ so when we play them, it’s like throwing a million hatchets into the audience,” explains Jesse F. Keeler, one half of DJ/production duo MSTRKRFT, describing the songs from the upcoming album, Fist Of God (to be released 3/17 on Dim Mak/Downtown). “When we play our own records, they need to be big.” Indeed, when it came to following up their acclaimed debut, 2006’s The Looks, MSTRKRFT looked to their experience behind the decks, spinning everywhere from packed, sweaty clubs to major festivals like the World Electronic Music Festival and Bonnaroo. “When we made The Looks, we hadn’t started DJ-ing professionally,” says Al Puodziukas, the other half of MSTRKRFT better known as Al-P. “This record is more like what we’d play out in our sets.” “Making The Looks was a debauched time,” Jesse adds. “We’d go out and party every single night, then come to the studio at 1:00 pm. We’re still going out every night, but around the world, which is a very different experience. It may sound arrogant, but from our DJ experience we’ve developed ideas about what people should be listening to.” That’s demonstrated by Fist of God’s sonic evolution. Not only are the beats fatter than ever this time around, they also represent Al-P and Jesse’s mutation of today’s best urban music into MSTRKRFT’s distinctively brutal club grooves. Throughout Fist, slamming cameos from the likes of John Legend, N.O.R.E., Ghostface Killah, E-40, Freeway, and Isis of Thunderheist all get MSTRKRFTED. “It wasn’t a conscious decision to incorporate more of those sounds,” Jesse clarifies. “It’s just a reflection of where our heads are at.”

WOLFGANG GARTNER
The name Wolfgang is synonymous with greatness. Name your baby Wolfgang, and he may grow up to be one of the world’s leading chefs, or a member of a seminal band like Kraftwerk or Van Halen. In keeping with that tradition, in less than three years the producer and DJ known as Wolfgang Gartner has gone from strength to strength, with eight #1 tracks on Beatport (including the site’s best-selling track of 2009) and remixes for A-list artists (Black Eyed Peas, Timbaland, Britney Spears), all lauded by peers such as David Guetta, Tďesto, and Pete Tong.  No, with the forename Wolfgang, Gartner’s success shouldn’t surprise anyone. And yet it does. Because that is his stock in trade: surprising listeners. “Right now, I feel like I have a responsibility to advance the genre,” he says. “I have to come up with something completely new, that’s never been done before.” Like another famous Wolfgang, Gartner started his artistic experiments at a very young age. As a little boy growing up in California he studied piano, playing both classical and jazz. But it was during a family trip to Tanzania when he was 11 years old that Gartner was turned on to dance music, in the form of a mix tape that featured Kevin Saunderson’s 1988 crossover techno hit “Good Life.” “I heard that track and it completely changed the chemical structure of my brain.” Back home in America, he began making his own forays into the field, producing original tracks on drum machines and keyboards while other kids were off at soccer practice or watching cartoons.

FELIX CARTAL
Felix Cartal was born with a passion for hard hitting electronic music. With influences ranging from the heavy hitting distortion of The Bloody Beetroots and Boys Noize, to the techno influences of Vitalic, Felix has created an amalgamation of electronic genres which results in a unique listening experience for home and live audiences alike. His distinctive method of incorporating abrasive distortion, intense instrumental build-ups and unique frequency variations in his songs gives Felix a sense of versatility within the electronic scene. This versatility has led Cartal to become one of the leaders of heavy-house – a genre known for its relentless intensity and bass and distortion heavy melodies. Cartal represents the new breed of industry players. Owing his success almost entirely to word-of-mouth and blog-endorsements, he is representative of the grassroots music movement that has been created due to the Internet – in a school of artists which includes contemporaries such as LA Riots, Sinden, Lazaro Casanova and Yuksek. Completely distanced from the world of expensive promotional gimmicks and label-hype, Cartal has risen in notoriety solely due to his musical abilities and talent. This new breed of artist, distinguished by exceptional content rather than hype, has begun to show much greater staying power than traditionally promoted artists.

DARK WAVE DISCO
Renowned Chicago nightlife institution Dark Wave Disco was born on a Tuesday night in March of 2005, at dancehall hipster haven Sonotheque. A venue continually reduced to standing room only on nights when Dark Wave would touch down, with lines stretching far along Chicago Avenue. Lines populated by music, nightlife, art, and culture junkies alike, all united by their desire to dance and demand for decadence. A demand to which the Dark Wave Disco DJ’s cater to at every appearance, alongside the biggest names in nightlife, from local to national to international talent. Dark Wave Disco originated as the brainchild of Chicago DJ/electro culture aficionado Mark Gertz and promoter/graphic artist Paul "in Chicago" Rodriguez. Together, the pair went about assembling their nightlife super-group dream team, an outfit that still produce Dark Wave to this day. Joined by veteran electro DJ Miguel “Trancid” Martin, Kill Hannah bassist and hipster indie enthusiast Greg Corner, and visual video artist Arturo Valle, Dark Wave Disco emerged fully realized and poised for takeover.

MIDNIGHT CONSPIRACY
Since their official debut in January, Midnight Conspiracy have maintained a steady upward momentum in the international electronic music scene. Their latest remix, a spacey synth-heavy update of Crystal Castle's classic "Crimewave", released in support of the band's new album and HARD Summer Tour, reached the #2 spot on Hype Machine's most popular chart--TWICE. The song joins the ever-growing list of MC's other successful offerings, including a dreamy dubstep re-imagining of Esser's pop anthem "Headlock", which was featured on BBC Radio 1 on the Kissy Sell Out Show, and an italo-banger version of Chromeo's "Night by Night", which also reached the Top 5 of Hype Machine's most popular charts twice. Co-conspirators Graham Cody, Louis Kha and Mikul Wing aren't slowing down any time soon. This past month, Midnight Conspiracy were set to release a new Crystal Castles remix of their song "Vietnam", as well as official remixes for the Editors and a sexed up track from Lucky Date. In the meantime, the boys were hitting the road for their first official tour. The Dead Fame Tour kicked off on May 7th in Phoenix, AZ and concluded with a huge party like only Midnight Conspiracy can throw in their home base of Chicago on June 26th.
